I co-founded NODE — the Network of Dedicated Entrepreneurs — on a simple belief: AI should be practical, accessible and secure for every small business owner, not just the tech giants. NODE is a community-driven platform where entrepreneurs, startups and creatives learn to turn AI into a real competitive edge, without the hype. In this post I want to walk through three of the parts members get the most out of: the AI courses, the prompt library, and our monthly online events.
The AI courses: from your first prompt to a company-wide strategy
NODE’s course catalogue is built to take you from AI-curious to AI-confident. Every course is text-based, self-paced and jargon-free, with copy-and-paste prompts, downloadable templates, resource links and further reading. The whole design is learn-by-doing — you put real tools to work in your business the same week, rather than wading through theory.
There are six core courses, and the path through them is deliberate:
- AI Foundations for Entrepreneurs — free for every registered member; the no-jargon starting point for what AI really is and how to use it safely.
- Prompt Engineering for Business — write prompts that get useful, reliable results every single time.
- AI for Marketing & Content — plan and produce a month of on-brand content in a fraction of the time.
- AI for Sales & Customer Service — win more deals and answer customers faster.
- Automating Your Business with AI — connect your tools and automate the busywork, no code required.
- AI Strategy & Implementation for Leaders — build a 90-day AI roadmap and lead the rollout with confidence.
AI Foundations is free the moment you register. From there, the Explorer membership (£39/mo) unlocks the hands-on Explorer courses, and Builder (£99/mo) adds the automation and strategy tracks plus priority support and community. And the catalogue keeps growing — we’re continually building new courses with members, so the library expands as the tools do.
The AI prompt library: 833 prompts and counting
If the courses teach you to fish, the prompt library hands you a very full tackle box. It’s a searchable collection of 833 prompts (and growing), organised across the areas entrepreneurs actually work in:
- AI & Technology — 194 prompts
- Strategy & Planning — 152
- Leadership & Development — 150
- Innovation & Creativity — 140
- Sales & Conversion — 84
- Marketing & Advertising — 32
Every prompt has a one-click Copy button, plus difficulty and productivity ratings, star reviews and tags — so you can sort by newest, easiest or highest-impact and drop a battle-tested prompt straight into the tool of your choice. Save the ones you love to your favourites, and, because this is a community, members can submit their own prompts to the library too. Access scales with your membership level, so there’s always another shelf to unlock.
Monthly online events: practical AI, real people
NODE isn’t only self-serve resources. Every month we run NODE Networking: Business Community & Practical AI — a relaxed online evening (6:30–7:30pm) of business chat, practical AI, and collaborative problem-solving. It’s where members share what’s working, troubleshoot real challenges together, and try out new tools in good company. Sessions run right through the summer and autumn, and we gather in person from time to time too — our recent premier event was at The Cricketers in Richmond, London.
The philosophy behind all of it is the same: networking and technology should be practical, supportive and collaborative — never intimidating. Running a business can feel isolating, and a friendly room (virtual or real) full of people solving the same problems is one of the fastest ways to move forward.
Come and build with us
Whether you want to take your first course, raid the prompt library, or just show up to an event and see what the community’s like, NODE is designed to meet you where you are. AI Foundations is free — create an account, take it on us, and upgrade when you’re ready.
